| October 2004 - Boon's First Ruff It's all gotta start somewhere, right? After more than a decade of wanting to shoot grouse over my own dog, Boon finally delivered on that dream. While hunting in Marinette County, WI with my brother, Dan, Boon snapped into a flash point just before this bird erupted out of a tag alder swamp. I got him as he made a hard left across the logging road. Boon found him for me in a balsam thicket & made a nice retrieve. My life hasn't been the same since that day... |
