One nice thing about hunting early season grouse is that the days are long and warm
and just about as perfect as it can get in northern Wisconsin. Here Boon and I take a
moment around lunch time to discuss the upcoming afternoon's hunt. I was thinking
of going down by the Popple River but he was arguing his point for hunting over off of
Newald Tower Road. I think we ended up checking out some new ground over by
Tipler, but who the hell really knows or even cares... we probably had a great time
anyway. The bigger question is would YOU believe a guy who consults with his dog?
