October 2007 - A Trio of Thunder Chickens
Belle looks pretty nonchalant in this picture, but she was anything but on this cool
and cloudy October day. Scenting conditions were great for our morning hunt in
Florence County, WI. She hunted beautifully and stuck gorgeous points on these three
ruffs. And I happened to close the deal the way I was supposed to. OK... she did point a
few more and I missed a couple on wild flushes, but three in the bag makes for a pretty
darn good day in the grouse woods!
