| August 2005 - The Source of the Issue This isn't actually a real hunting picture, but it's from a training session as we were getting Boon ready for his first NAVHDA Utility Test. This was when I was just starting to understand the incredible versatility of the breed and gaining appreciation for Boon's potential as an all-around hunting dog. Boon was completing this retrieve after searching the marsh hard for this "wounded" duck. Boon's enthusiasm and effectiveness for retrieving out of water is unquestionable. |
