| Shona has truly "wiggled" her way into our hearts. She has a strong build, plenty of drive, beautiful pointing style & the kind of eager-to-please personality that really makes you smile. Her happy tail is in constant motion and she's one of the most outwardly affectionate dogs we've ever seen. Her unusual call name is a derivation of the German word for "beauty" - schöne. We couldn't be more pleased with Shona's work in the field during her first few hunting seasons. After missing the 2009 season due to a spinal infection, she has begun to really master grouse and woodcock and many North Dakota roosters have been bagged over her stylish points as well. Shona has also developed very well as a hunt test dog and has matured into a extremely honest & hardworking girl. We'll continue to campaign her in AKC & NAVHDA hunt tests with the hope of finishing her titles in 2011. We're truly blessed to have such a happy & lovable girl like Shona in our family. |
